Research:

Dr. Talcott has collaborative research projects in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac ablation models, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery including lumbar and cervical spine fusion models, fetal tissue transplantation in diabetes. His surgical facility supports various surgical disciplines including minimally invasive surgery, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, plastic surgery, pediatrics and emergency medicine. The service provides anesthesia support and perioperative care for approximately 500 cases annually utilizing rabbits, pigs, dogs, sheep and goats.
