Visiting Campus
The MU College of Veterinary Medicine's
mission is to provide veterinary medical education, conduct
research, and provide diagnostic and therapeutic services.
In keeping with that mission, the Office of Recruitment and
Retention and Academic Affairs will provide tours to individuals
and groups in the following categories: Students considering
veterinary medicine as a career choice (primarily high school
juniors, seniors, and undergraduate students), donors or potential
gift-givers will be given tours by the College's Development
Office or Office of Recruitment and Retention, and clients
of the MU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital who have made
such arrangements through that department.
Appointments are encouraged for individuals
and small groups and required for groups of ten or more. Tours
for preschool, elementary and middle school students are not
available. These groups are encouraged to tour during the
annual College Open House (usually held each April). For more
information about college tours call (573) 882-4397.
