Standardized Tests
REVISED GRADUATE RECORD EXAMINATION
(GRE):
The revised GRE General Test will be offered for the first
time worldwide in September. This revised examination will
replace the current GRE General Test. The current GRE General
Test will no longer be offered after July 31, 2007. Refer
to www.gre.com for specific
test information.
Standardized Examination Requirement:
Applicants must submit results from the current GRE General
Test, the Revised GRE General or the Medical College Admission
Test (MCAT) to the College of Veterinary Medicine on or before
February 1, 2008. Applicants must have taken the test on or
after February 1, 2005.
Minimum requirements:
Current GRE General Test: A minimum qualifying score is 640.
This score is obtained by adding the scores of the verbal
and quantitative sections of the test. In addition, a minimum
score of 1.5 on the analytical portion of the test.
MCAT: composite score
of 15
Revised GRE General Test: The minimum scores
for Revised GRE General Test will be announced in November
2007.
