Make a donation to the:
Spirit
of Veterinary Medicine Hurricane Katrina Animal Relief Fund
This fund is administered through the LSU Foundation for the
benefit of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and will
be used in the animal relief efforts both in the LSU Veterinary
Teaching Hospital and Clinics, where sick and injured animals
are being treated, and at the shelter facility at LSU’s
Parker Coliseum, where over 1200 animals (the majority are
evacuated/rescued owned animals) are being cared for and a
primary care/triage veterinary medical facility has been established.
Make a donation to the:
John
D. Rhoades Veterinary Student Support Fund
This fund will be used to help LSU veterinary
students who find themselves in a financial crisis either
now or down the road due to they and their families having
lost jobs and so much of what they own in this disaster.
The University of Missouri College
of Veterinary Medicine is one of many organizations working
as a clearing house for hurricane relief donations. Funds
sent through this site will be forwarded to the organization
you have chosen to assist. We are not accepting
donations for organizations that have operational online donation
capabilities. To find other organizations taking donations
for their relief efforts, click here.
