Missouri Institute for Cattle (MIC) Establishment

Missouri is the second leading state in cow-calf production, something that contributes mightily to the state's economy.

Establishing the MIC would enhance a number of strengths that MU has in the area of bovine medicine: a dedicated food supply faculty on a collaborative research campus where colleges of medicine, agriculture, and veterinary medicine exist.

Increased efficiency in cattle production will further enhance Missouri's agriculture economy.
