| Curriculum
This committee will:
1. Evaluate the professional curriculum. Specifically, the
committee will assess the ability of the curriculum to provide
the training necessary for the success of CVM graduates.
2. Advise the Dean on suggested changes to the curriculum.
3. Design methods to assess the effectiveness of professional
training.
The committee will be composed of one member
each from the Departments of Veterinary Pathobiology and Biomedical
Sciences. The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery
will have two members (one from the large animal area and
one from the small animal area). SCAVMA will appoint one student
member (1 year appointment). The Associate Dean for Academic
Affairs will serve as the chair. The Associate Dean for Student
and Alumni Affairs will serve on the committee as an ex officio
member. Alternates will be appointed for all members.
The committee will meet at least
twice yearly and will submit a report to the Office of Academic
Affairs.
