MU Vet Med Professor Emeritus Named Phi Zeta President

Dr. Robert McClureRobert McClure, DVM, PhD, and professor emeritus at the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine, was recently elected as president-elect of The Society of Phi Zeta. Phi Zeta is the honor society of veterinary medicine with chapters at 27 veterinary schools across the United States. The society promotes scholarship and research related to animal disease and welfare.

Dr. McClure earned his DVM degree from Iowa State University and his Doctorate in Veterinary Anatomy-Surgery from Cornell University.

He was a professor of veterinary anatomy at the MU College of Veterinary Medicine from 1960-2000.
