The Neurology & Neurosurgery Residency The Comparative Neurology Program offers a three year residency with the goal of board certfication in neurology & neurosurgery by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Candidates are matched through the VIRMP and must obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Missouri. |

Veterinary Students During the pre-clinical curriculum, veterinary students are introduced to the diseases of the nervous system, the diagnostic approach to disease and therapeutic options. During their clinical rotations in neurology & neurosurgery, they learn to apply these principles to help the patients under their care. |
Continuing Education for Veterinarians The Comparative Neurology Program faculty present continuing education programs around the world to share their knowledge of neurologic diseaes and therapy with other veterinarians. |

Public Education Informed clients are the best clients. The Comparative Neurology Program faculty also work to inform the public through lectures to breed clubs, civic organizations, and others.
