First veterinarian completes Mizzou’s innovative mixed animal internship
Rural communities need veterinarians who can care for everything from household pets to livestock. As the first graduate of Mizzou’s mixed animal rotating internship, Sam Hoover is helping demonstrate how a new approach to veterinary training can strengthen the workforce, expand access to care and prepare veterinarians for the demands of mixed animal practice.
